PPD2 blog 2

Continuing where I left off I began shaping the edges to match the shape of the bird

Afterwards I selected edges on the tail

I then narrowed the tail
I added an edge to the head of the bird

And began to pull them out

I added an extra edge to the beak to make it rounder
After I added an edge to the middle

And then I pulled the edge out in order to give it a more pointed shape

I then went back to the head and pulled out the edges to make it more rounded

Going back to the body I pulled more vertices out to make it smoother

After I pulled the top vertices on the end
Then continued to the back

After I moved the vertices on top of the end in order to make it look less square

Now that I had the basic shape done I decide to start on the legs so I selected the bottom faces

I extruded the faces individually and scaled them
Then I went along to move the faces down
After I added more edges to the new part of the model
After I scaled the end vertices down

I then extruded the faces
Continuing this I then selected the end faces and extruded them outwards   in order to make the feet

Next I began to move the vertices in order to match the legs of a bird because birds legs are a lot more different than humans in the way they appear and move.

After I began to alter the feet as like the legs they are different to human and need to be able to grip onto things in a similar way to human hands

I began to space the legs out more as I still needed to create more toes
I selected one of the faces on the toes

I then start to extrude them out
After I repeated this process with the other side

I then went to the back toe and began to shape it by making it more pointed. I also continue with the other toes I had created

After I created the toe at the other end of the birds foot still using the same process while also shaping it

I then did the same with the other side
